Anyone sold a car on ebay before?

Has anyone sold a car on ebay before? I'm looking into doing it and just wondering if anyone has done it before. If so how did it turn out? I've sold stuff on ebay just never a car. I wouldn't imagine its any different.

sold my car... then the guy filed a complaint... be sure to include something like:
i attempted to describe this car to the best of my knowledge... vehicle is sold as is, where is, how is... please inspect and / or test drive before you purchase so there are no questions you will not be satisfied with this vehicle or its condition. thank you.

its too expensive to sell on ebay...they charge you like $40, when the auction is posted...then when it sells, another $40...you are going to spend close to $100 when it is all said and done...

The newspaper/autotrader is your best bet. I've sold 2 rx7's on rx7club and both went to local buyers. Would have probably reached them faster with the autotrader. All you get on forums is tire kickers asking you a million stupid questions. Selling anything on the forums is a pain. Anytime you sell somthing more thana grand or so, your stuck dealing with the broke dick forum junkies.

ive sold a few cars on forums (stangnet and corral.net) ... all worked out very well. the first people who called bought three cars from me but they weren't very expensive... $3300, 2000 and 100 or so. two were from NC and the other guy was from Atlanta. sold my cherokee thru a local classifieds ad. id have to say my worst experience selling a car was with ebay.

if you want to sell online, go with cars.com or autotrader.com.

otherwise just list it in the paper. or leave it parked somewhere with a big ass for sale sticker in the window. lol.
