This is a 2003 frame, compact, size 57cm. 60% of the drivetrain is brand new, using what I believe to be an optimal combination of DuraAce and Ultergra components. I can provide the full list if necessary. Bascially its light where it can be and durable where it needs to be. Also included is the carbon fork and seatpost that came with the bike, as well as a FSA K-Wing handlebar ($250). Seriously, if youve never ridden with one, youve never lived. Also included is a short FSA stem that I found quite comfortable. Original stem and handlebars can be included.
In addition, I'll include a Fizik airone saddle (the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden). The wheels are Mavic Ksyrium, and the tires are seriously new (under 100 miles) continental sprinters. If you'd like the pedals as well, we can talk about those.
This is a sprinting bike in every sense of the word. I've never ridden another frame that has the kind of power transfer this bike gives me. However, I think the modifications I've done to it (most notably the K-wing) have made it comfortable enough to do centuries (ive done 3 with no prolems).
I paid $2,000 2 years ago, and have probably put in another $800 since then. I'll be willing to part with it to a head-fi'er for $1100 shipped. List price on this sucker was something outrageous like 5 grand. Im completely open to offers, though, so don't hesitate!
Pictures to come later tonight. PM with any questions. This is a phenomenal bike that I have loved, and I hate to let it go. I just never ride any more.

It makes a world of a difference. Like 500 dollars for speaker cables. I need to stop blowing money on things and just get a rx7...

DuraAce and Ultergra components are top of the line.
Specialized "S works" frames are also highly regarded by many.
1k is a good price.
But unless you are an unusually large asian, a 57cm will probably be too big for you.

Dunno, you'd need to check some out and be fitted by someone who really knows what they're looking at/talking about (I really don't)
Correct fit is very important for a road bike I'm told. (I've been thinking about buying a cross bike for a while now, but still have some learning to do)
I'm 6'2'' and probably ride a 57-8 cm.
Go lurk around on www.roadbikereview.com for some answers (I think I've seen BATMAN post there also...)

It looks like an Aluminum frame.
If so, it's a rip off.
The Durace and Ultegra is 2 generations old.
IMHO, it's worth $500. And that is mostly because of the wheels.
Pure AL frames require a mouth piece or u'll chip ur teeth.
The handle bars are pretty pricey new, but I am not a big fan of Carbon Fiber for handle bars.
Too many stories of the bars snapping.
I like metal.
When was the last time u've seen carbon fiber Katanas?

Is the seat post CF too? If the handle bar has a risk of snapping... then the same applies for the seat post too right?

Also, wait until you're all growed up to spen big bucks on a bike.

I should have brought that 91 N/a FC instead . Oh well, time to gather money again.
