Judgment, pure and simple.

Just like the wave of the Flood (local or not!), how can Gods judgment be stopped? Who could stop a tidal wave of that proportion? Same with his judgment, it is a wave that cannot be stopped, held back, diverted, or quelled. It is divine in purpose and direction.

oh gee, why would I imagine that someone who creates an invincible demon army to slaughter every last human, man woman and child, on the planet is anything but good incarnate ?

the fact that he will then toss the freshly murdered souls into a burning lake of fire for the rest of eternity just enhances his goodness.

Great Passage Mark! This has definitely been on my mind over the last several weeks, not at the forefront but certainly there.

What is going on here? Who are my Christian brothers in this forum and what do you say about "the promise of entering his rest"? I'll be the first to 'fess up that I am not there yet.
