When do you think booze commercials will change?

As long as I can remember, the central theme in alcohol commercials has to do with fat retards watching football, some dipshit fooling his hot girlfriend into thinking he is doing something else and not drinking, or girls getting excited about some queer drinking a fruity beer.

Now, I understand the fat retard/football connection. They are obviously reaching an actual existing market. But the loser drunk who is lying to his girlfriend? I don't get why they glorify this, or get why people watch it and think it is cool. I also don't get how people think they are going to get laid by drinking Smirnoff Ice.

I actually kinda identify with that one.

Yeah I guess that is true. I think I am more bothered by the fact that there are still retards out there who actually think getting wasted and lying to their wife about it is something to aspire to.

I think you need a new girlfriend then there guy. I like going out and drinking too, but I've never found myself in the position where it was necessary to lie to someone about it.

Anyone half way paying attention to the world isn't usually swayed by Advertising. They're aiming at the they zombies can plant a seed in the head of and see increased sales.

I can't rember a single commercial that depicts a person I would ever really want to be.

I haven't had a steady lady in a year or so. I do however remember dating a few here and there that didn't understand the need for a little personal time.


I'd imagine alot of guy's can relate to wanting to go out and have a beer but also not wanting a fight with the Mrs. There are alot of crazy bitches out there, but dating one isn't really a situation "the capitan" can help you out with I agree.

Yeah I wouldn't expect it to. I know plenty of fat retards who for some reason find enjoyment in putting on an Eagles jersey, going to a sports bar, eating chili cheese fries, drinking Miller Lite, and arguing with other fat retards about whose team is better.
