Explain this to me believers....

If we look at the bible and see no mention of life before humans then how does the bible explain the fossils, millions of years old. Or the complete skeleton of a T-Rex 2.5 million years old?

The only answer I ever hear is the same one over and over. God put them here as a test of our faith. I take this to translate into "We have no idea how to explain that..."

Sounds like you already know the answer and you're not really interested in my answer, but I'll go for it anyway.

The idea "God put it there to test our faith" is rather juvenile IMHO. Why would God need to test anything if he is all knowing? The tests of God are for our benefit, so that we may know the results.

My answer is that the methods that certain people use to date the fossils at 2.5 million years are not reliable.

The answer is even easier than that- the Bible does not explain fossils, millions of years old. Nor does it explain a complete skeleton of T-Rex that is 2.5 million years old. Those two things are simply not in there.

The Bible also fails to explain pre-historic humanoid cultures on the continental US, the cotton gin, the ball point pen, the Beatles, the death of Martin Luther King Jr, what kind of food Joshua might have had for breakfast on any given Friday, or a whole host of other subjects, but it doesn't make it any less credible concerning what it does explain.
