Barrel break in, in a word; retarded.

Like D-Rock said, for those that would actually realize any benefit from doing that wouldn't do it in the first place. They would just buy a top barrel.

Here's my break in procedure:

Buy gun.

Buy ~500 rds of ammo

Go to range.

Have a blast popping off all those rounds.

Go home and clean gun.
