Um... the first "intelligent" human beings to live on this planet were, according to scientists, around 250,000 to 400,000 years ago. I don't really understand your views on the whole evolution thing, but yeah.
And the "microbe to man logic" is a lot more stable than any religious ideals. >.> If you don't believe that humans evolved, how can you believe some omniscient heavenly lord created us from nothing? Yeah, like THAT's more believable. |

Because the whole idea of some mystical man breathing the universe into existence out of nothing, making up a bunch of rules for humans because clearly we are the only form of life in the entire universe, sending his human son to earth to be crucified, and then a bunch of old Jews writing about the whole ordeal without changing or misrepresenting one single detail is certainly more logical.
