Whats gonna suck though is the insurence on a stang with that much damn power.  If Ford can bring out a stang with that much power for under 30K, then more power to em.  What I think they might do though, is hold it off until they can make a special edition and put the motor in that one.  That way they can "at least in their eyes" justify jacking the price up.  It will be interesting to see what they do though.  Next few years promise to be fun, and when I get my car paid off I'm certainly gonna have options.

The 2003 Cobra Vert  went up $1495 from $33500 to $34,995 and they added a supercharger and 6-speed manual.  390hp/390 ft. lbs. Not a bad price if the Lancer Hardtop is going to be $28-30,000.

This guy I know bought a 01 Vette and we thought it was fast til he got outran by a factory 00 GT.  He bought a carbon fiber K&N intake with dual filters and Borla and exhaust and got beat again. Havent seen him since then he doesnt talk to us much. I think SS's are the fastest. Vettes have IRS right? The new Z0 is nice.

Im going with an old school motor swap instead of a new Cobra and saving a lot on insurance, taxes and payments.
