No, I saw your post Sup. I'm looking at ducati's online right now. What about this one?

Ultra, what is that? A Honda, obviously, but what model? If it's an RC51, I'm gonna internet slap you.

so you want a sport turing?

well in that case, I dunno, never looked into them.

The Ducati's I was talking about were the super bikes from the early 90's when their technology was blowing the jap bikes out of the water.

uh...

if you want one of those for street give me a couple hours and I'll dig up the URL's for the street only versions, lots beefier to withstand serious impacts on pavement.

Granted, your going to wind up paying well over $300 for one, where the Six Six One cost ~ $190

troy lee designs sells another one thats pretty much dirt only:

velocity gear armor:

http://www.highvelocitygear.com/armor.html

the Flak Jacket:

http://rockgardn.easystorecreator.co...parent_ids/0,1

if you dig around enough on motorcycle websites you'll see many different kinds, there are quite a few street specific ones built by companies like Joe Rocket and Alpenstar among others.

pretty much, only older by about 7 years.

I prefer bikes that only one person can ride on, gives me an excuse not to take friends for a ride.

I can't tell you anything wrong with the ZX-11 since I haven't been "into" street bikes enough to do any depth of research for going on 5 years now. And even then I only researched Hondas and Ducatis

Buell's are built by Harley Davidson IIRC, and have quite a different feel to them. I seem to remember that they use the swingarm as the oil resevoir, and some other frame part for coolant or something.

It lowers a lot of the weight quit a bit and changes the feel of the suspension since so much weight is back there behind the pivot point.

I work with 4 guys who own Buells and they love em. Never even sat on one myself.

Looking around ebay, Buell seems really inexpensive. 2003 models are in the upper $2k range.
