It's potent. Kinda bland, but alright, perhaps a slight caramel flavor. VERY CARBONATED.
I didn't have any fridge space so I kept it in the basement.... bad idea. It's my first time, what can I say? It's in the fridge now, doesn't hold the carbonation too long, but I'm sure it'll work itself out.
what type of beer was it? did u use a kit? all grain? im gonna pop my last bottle of the belgian style dubbel tomorrow. ill try to post a vid of the pour.
I'm going to be homebrewing for the first time as soon as I can find something to replace the missing gasket on the water trap. I'm all set to go with a Cooper's Real Ale kit. mmm
I've home brewed for last 6 years ... best results with coopers - though Cascade also do a good drop.
I'd recommend their mahogany ale ... but nothin beats the coopers stout ...
Anyone used a creamer for that Guiness like head???? ... I'm not kidding they DO sell em ... and I'm not talkin one-handed here either ;-)
