RX-7 progress

it was 493whp and only did 7.65@95 on street tires best pass. it was pretty hard to launch had to ride the clutch. i sold it to build a real engine (408 with afr 225 heads).

you riding to shady side tomorrow ? i went thursday before last and it blew. there is a new drag strip in union that everyone is going to instead of greer or shady side.

What do you think about an LT1 instead of LS1? I found one with a blown head gasket with transmission for $450

LT1 is too old school for a FD. Need the LSx.

I've been out of the loop for quite a while when it comes to cars. I'm down range right now, so I'm planning on building one helluva weekend car when I get back. I'm eyeing the Nissan 350z, but I sure as hell can use some guidance on what to buy.

fast forward to 1:20 and thats why you dont need an LT1.

I may post some pictures over the weekend. The LT1 turned out to be a blown head gasket and auto tranny... knew it was too good to be true. I'm still on the hunt.

im just hoping the quest with runs low 8s to mid 8s with boost around 18-20psi

You should do a 4g63t swap or a sr20det or rb25det. the fuel system on that stock motor sucks. you have probably read that by now.
