The man gets convicted of something a week ago, then executed without a chance for appeal? "Let's kill him to show we disapprove of him killing people."

How many appeals did He get? None?
See your ignorance (and suprisingly Manntis') spilled out all over the lounge floor, His appeal ended with the original conviction being upheld. This just happened four days ago |

Sorry, I had the cases confused, he was on trial for another. He was convicted on november 5th and given a whopping 50 days or so for an "appeal" which I hardly consider enough time when dealing with someone's life.
I'm sure the courts were unbiased and executing him so quickly wasn't a political move or anything.
...and as always, it's stupid to kill to teach others that killing is bad.

We can't execute child molesters, murders, rapist and etc..
here in the states, no less than 5 years..
So we invade a country and impose our views and values of
democracy, while turning a blind eye to our own beliefs.
seems hypocritical to me.
IMO, only way to keep the Kurds, Sunni's and Shiites from fighting
and keeping Iraq together, was how Saddam did it.
