Science is not intended to be the true answer to our inner selves. What science does is learn the mechanics which govern the physical universe. Science will never bring any answers to the meaning of life, which is the purpose of the Bible.
Now lets examine the Bible. Basically, the best the Bible can do, to explain god, is to call out god as a programer. God would be someone who wrote the universal laws and made it so. And the Bible suggests that if we all pray in unison, our tiny voices might be heard for god to take notice. But the existence of god is still argumental and impossible(?) to prove.
The Bible tries and fails to explain who made these laws and ourselves. But if you take out the Bible's short comings of who runs the universe, you will find that the Bible is on target on another important matter. The most important in my humble opinion. The meaning of life.
Thus, the meaning of life in accordance with the Bible:
-You will lead a more meaningful life if you do good toward other people than having a goal of being rich and/or powerful.
-amen to that!
