post yours if you have one.

Current build (no pics atm) started as a stock Ruger 10/22 Sporter.

Now it has the following:

Volquartsen Trigger Guard 2000
Volquartsen CNC Bolt
Volquartsen recoil buffer
Fajen Thumbhole stock glass bedded by me
Green Mountain 20" 0.920 - OD non fluted barrel
Volquartsen Picatinny scope rail
Badger Ordnance Ultra High 30mm scope rings

and as far as optics go...

I might slap my USO SN3 thats sitting on the shelf on this baby, or maybe just go pick up a Nikon Gold Monarch 30mm. The Luepy M4 series has been suggested as an option as well.

i just got one a few days ago and have put about 300 rds through it. It is bone stock besides a 4X scope. i took it up to my camp over last weekend and in 3 days shoot 14 squirrels (sp?) ot of the pine trees that is damn fun.

I shoot up there so often that the noise does not bother them but when one falls out of the tree the other come running over to see what happened then i can easily get 2-3 more before they scramble.

Marlin anything .22 FTW. Preferably bolt action though.

gotta tell ya guys, I was at the local gun shop the other day....and I am actually thinking about picking up one of those Walther P22 pistols...cheap, rugged and reliable. No one seems to have anything bad to say about them. As much as I dont really like the idea of a .22 for a concealer, the thing is just so damn small and fits the hand so right....they even make one with an integrated laser sight in front of the trigger guard lol....how cute...

Anyhoo, the 10/22 is one of my favorites...but the Marlins are ok too. I dont really care for their bolt actions though--the lever action .22 actually is something though. The Golden 39A is the best 22 rifle I have ever fired. Highly recommended....

yeah, its gonna be my new backup carry weapon I think. I am going to pick up the short barrel model. Not bad at all--a hair over $300 for it. small enough to conceal pretty much anywhere, and the thing shoots groups smaller than 1 1/2" at 25 yards....not bad at all

eh...

The walthers are allright, its just like with any gun there are good sides and bad sides. A lot of guys I know that are running the walthers have supressors on them, and when set up like that they wear out fast. Fast as in 1k - 2k rounds and you have to start replacing parts. With a .22 thats insane.

I won't ever run one because the grip is too small for my hands, feels like I'm trying to gip a pack of playing cards instead of a gun. But thats just personal preference, and I would rather just buy a .22lr conversion for my Glock. Its cheaper then a walther and all my holsters will still fit.

I have a ruger 10/22 and think it's a great gun.And i've tried those eagle plastic bananna 10 shot clips and they always jam bullets. Whats a good after market clip.
