I should have posted this sooner, since the 180sx has been on the road now for a few weeks.  I took her to the dyno the weekend I got it done and laid down 207.7hp and 202.4tq at .6 bar.  Anyway.  Cruising the Blvd. the night I dyno'd her,  I roll up to a 85-86 Corvette.  He is in the right lane, I'm in the left..rolling about 20mph.  I drop down to 2nd gear and roll up on him.  The road ahead is clear since it is about 230am.  As I pull up to about his back tire,  he guns it and takes off.  I let him get a full length on me and then floor it in second.  A little squirm from the rear (no LSD..yet) and I take off in pursuit.  Instantly I closed the gap and kept on going past him like he wasn't even trying,  the sound of his V8 being drowned out by my HK$ HiPer tells me that he was trying though.  By the top of second gear I had already caught him, passed him and put 2 lengths on him,  so I called it quits and let off.  Of course, he kept going and roared right by me.

What really tells me that his feelings were hurt is that I pulled up beside him again a few blocks later and looked over..he wouldn't even look at me, even when I cracked a rev to get his attention.  Just stiff armed the steering wheel and stared straight ahead.

The "victory" was even sweeter because I had a friend with me that has a pretty worked FD RX7.  He was pretty impressed with the "kill" and proceeded to tell _everyone_ at the party we ended up at.

more to come I'm sure...

let's see.... redtop SR20det motor and trans. &nbsp;
1.6mm Nismo steel head gasket (compression on the stock internals is now 8.0:1)
unknown maker adjustable cam sprockets (ebay used)
HK$ Iridium plugs (in the motor when I got it)
Venom 255 intank pump
AEM universal pressure regulator (no stock FPR) plumbed with -4 and -6 AN lines into the stock rail and injectors.
Stock t25 turbo, running only .6bar right now
APEX'i GTR intercooler (mounted under hood)
Blitz bov
3&quot; downpipe
HK$ HiPer exhaust
Custom fabbed 240sx stock radiator/cooling system. &nbsp;
Nismo 1.3 bar rad. cap
HK$ 60mm EGT and Boost gauges
Silvia S13 guage cluster
Momo steering wheel and knob
Tein HR coilovers, front pillowballs and camber plates
Cusco frt/rear upper strut bars (Type OS)
Optima redtop battery mounted behind the rear seat
S14 front seats from a 96
180sx taillights (zenkei..early style)

I think that is it ...for now.

The GTR chiller is going back on the Turbo Civ (the 320hp@10psi one). &nbsp;A brand spankin new LS tranny straight from Acura should be arriving this week for it. &nbsp;Then the 1000cc's are going in and we head back to the dyno to try and make 400hp at 10psi...before turning it up. <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>

As for my 180sx, &nbsp;I'm polishing a NPR diesel truck chiller I bought on Ebay for it right now. &nbsp;It will still be mounted under the hood, &nbsp;totally stealth, &nbsp;but this one will be even more horsepower and almost instant throttle response. &nbsp;The NPR is 19.5&quot; wide, and 8.5&quot; tall and 2.5&quot; thick. &nbsp;The end outlets are aimed perfectly just as they come. &nbsp;My total piping length will be in the neighborhood of about 1.5' when this one is in. &nbsp;Zero lag. &nbsp;Even now with the HUGE Skyline cooler there is very little lag with the T25. &nbsp;I'm also changing over to a Turbo XS RFL Type H blowoff too.

I need to get some larger injectors and then I'll start dialing up the boost.

I discovered just the other day that my plugs were gapped to .035. &nbsp;This is WAY too large for a turbo car on stock ignition, at least an SR. &nbsp;I dropped them down to .027 and it feels like a different car. &nbsp;The hesitation I had sometimes is gone. &nbsp;Gas mileage is up. &nbsp;I know I could have pulled at least another 10hp from that alone on the dyno...as it is, best pull at .6 bar was 207.7hp and 202.4tq the weekend that I got her done.

More coming soon.. stay tuned.

Me again.... thought I'd tell everyone how my night at the Rock went Saturday night.

I went intending not to even run, &nbsp;just wanted to show off the install for the shop. &nbsp;I decided to run when my friend whose IS300 I had just installed Nitrous on wanted me to run with him. &nbsp;So we both went and signed up... turns out that he got screwed on getting his bottle filled, only got maybe 3 shots on a 10lb bottle...the rest came out as just air. &nbsp;Wierd. &nbsp;There was pressure there, &nbsp;but not N2O. &nbsp;Anyway, &nbsp;we never did end up running each other. &nbsp;He ran a few times with no gas and got pissed and left because it spun so bad (2002 5 speed).

Anyway, &nbsp;on to the Nissans. &nbsp;I met a guy there with a really nice zenkei (round eye) S14 SE. &nbsp;Blacktop SR swap, &nbsp;GReddy Vspl intercooler, GReddy surge tank, APEX'i N1 duals. &nbsp;Coolest thing was that he had a Nismo Vlsd with a 4.37 gear.
I'm thinking this guy is gonna wax me if we race. &nbsp;Turns out that we never did line up together. &nbsp;What did surprise me, &nbsp;I ran a Civic Si my first run..first time on the track ever with the 180 and first time on the track since the low 12s I ran in PRicer's MR2 a bunch of months ago. &nbsp;I ran a 14.67@98.02.
I talked to the S14 guy that ran right after me.. he ran the same time!!! &nbsp;Well, a 14.6 @98.. &nbsp;I was pretty happy.

I didnt hear what he ran the rest of the night, &nbsp;but we never did race. &nbsp;I ran an Integra GSR next...I wont publish his times, but I ran a 14.47@97.21.

Next was a really sick (at least I hope) Fox body Mustang GT.
I ran a 14.54@97.08, and well, lets just say that I won easily.

I dont remember what car I ran on the last few runs, but they were 4th-14.53@97.91, 5th-14.41@98.82, and 6th-14.56@99.38.

I won every race..with those times I guess I just got lucky in picking them.

These runs were made at stock boost on my full weight 1989 Nissan 180sx, 15&quot; SE rims with HARD &quot;S&quot; rated 195/60/15s and NO LSD.

My best 60' was a 2.204 followed by a 2.265 and a few 2.3s.

I was pretty happy, especially knowing that this is the SLOWEST the car will ever go.

I'm from Myrtle Beach. &nbsp;

Dunno how far Darlington is for you guys up there, &nbsp;but I go there pretty frequently to run.. &nbsp;It is about 85 miles for me to there. &nbsp;I see alot of guys from Columbia there all the time.

I also get to Rockingham (125 miles for me)whenever there is an Import Event.
Unfortunately, &nbsp;I won't be able to make it to the BOI at the Rock on Oct 12th, I'll be with family in MD.

Ben (Howard) is talking about coming to the shop soon. &nbsp;Get up with him and make it a road trip.

I ran at Darlington tonite as a matter of fact... check out the other topic...&quot;fun with SaRa&quot; LOL

LOL...we are drifting of course...even in the FFs

They are breaking ground on my new building next week, &nbsp;so hopefully by the middle of the winter I'll be in a place that has some heat, &nbsp;instead of this 7k sqft warehouse I have now.

The new location is literally just across the lot from the current one. &nbsp;Will be built on the bend right there towards the &quot;1/8th mile track&quot;.

Keep an eye out up there in the next month. &nbsp;Our first 4g64 Mitsu should be hitting the road soon, &nbsp;we just got the block back from Cali and it is finally bored properly...

Come hang out Steve, Ben..everyone... there are a lot of new smooth empty roads around here....MUUHAHAHAHAHA....(devilish grin)

stay tuned.....
