I have a 1973 mustang fast back with a 351C2V engine/fmx trans/9"rear. I have to sell it due to some family problems. the engine and trans were rebuilt around 6k miles ago. theinterior and floor pans/trunk were replaced as well. the car needs some minor things to get back to 100 percent and a paint job. I have 10,000 in parts alone and only want to get some cash, will sell for 5,500 or obo. Here is a listing of what i have done:

ENGINE:
fully ballanced and blueprinted race worthy engine(never raced)

lunati cam(285@.5/560/560, 1.7 rockers)
3angle valve job, light cleanup and port.
edelbrock performer/carter 625cfm(14mpg)
hooker super competition headers/flowmaster full custom 3" slock exit exaust

newer alt, ps pump.
totaly painted and detailed engine bay(some dust now but will clean)
new flywheel(ford)

Trans/Rear:
FMX auto trans built to shift manually as well. Higher stall converter but very streetable. Rebuilt with engine and still does very well. could use and additional cooler for hard driving(i dont).
Also built by a known local professional and will vouch for the car.
The 9" rear is very strong and comes with two options for ratios. the first is a 2.75 highway gear/28 spline. with this gear i still get around a 13.5 1/4 with bad tires. the other is a detroit locked 3.70 ratio chunk/31 spline axles. comes with the car(no axles).

Interior:(black)
new seats
carpet
dash cover(other parts painted and very nice)
headliner(not installed)
glove box
new weather stripping
no ac or heat
no radio(came with but the engine is enough music)
very comfortable but needs a few things:
1)headliner installed(100$)
2)sail panels(75)
3)steering wheel insert(30)(these parts are still there but need replacing in the next little while or immediately to be 100 %)

EXTERIOR:
needs full paintjob, is red now)(1500-3500 depending on the quality wanted, little to no rust damage)
Front grill cracked but hardly noticeable(150)
has new chin and rear spoiler(black)
Whole undercarraige was wire brushed and painted prior to engine install.
The car has 15x7 drgstars, f=225-70/15, & 275-60-15

General Info:
This car is awesome and complete, however it does need some finishing as described and a person who can afford to drive it and upkeep. my family situation requires me to get rid of this car ASAP. If you or anyone you know could help me sell this car I would give a finders fee upon the sale. up to 500 dollars is what im offering...500=week one(now), 400=week 2, etc. the fee will never go under 100 though. i really need the money but would like to keep the car, it runs soo good and the street form its in now is nothing compared to what i built it for. the car is capable of 9-10 sec ond ets with not much more money put in it or it can stay as is and be an awesome ride for years to come.

I have many extras that can be negotiated to come with the car. here is a list:

Almost no rust and just dull paint is all that is left almost. I have reciepts for 9-10k in PARTS!! alone. Please, it really needs to go so i can fix my truck and take care of buisiness. make a reasonable offer and ill consider.

Ive never tracked it but one of the few times i tried it out agiant others it ran fender to fender at exacly a quarter mile to a consistant 13.5 car. This was with the 2.75 open rear end and lots of wheel spin on some bald bfgs. On the good bfg radial "street slicks" i was ahead but still had some room to do better. I just have not had the time to put into this car anymore. It can easliy do 650hp and a 10 second pass if a few HUNDRED dollars put into it.

A single plane intake, bigger carb(can include), rear end chunk(also have with car), axles, and some nitrous(150-175 shot easily capable). Put on some dot slicks and add the subrames(included but not installed) and it will be a awesome drag car. I wanted more of a street setup is all. it does really well around town and will still haul ass. I have been radared at 145 before and that was not quite all out.

200(intake)+200(31splineaxles)+100(9"bearing kit)+400(nitrous)+200(weld subframes)=1100 dollars for a damn fast car on pump gas that idles and drives really well for 30+ year old design. I am absolutely giving it away but its got to happen!
