fcdrifter13 05-27-2008, 10:29 PM FS 94 Jeep Cherokee XJ 3" lift 32 11.50s $5000obo
I am looking to sell my 94 jeep Cherokee. Its been a fun truck and has been my daily driver for the past few months.
132000 on the odo 4.0l HO 4spd auto
Motor has had all new gaskets, full tune up, installed a heavy duty oil pan(has a built in skid plate. K&N FIPK intake, new alt, rad, water pump, starter. The trans was just serviced less than 5000miles ago. Rebuilt front and rear axles with all new seals bearings and gaskets. I have had this jeep off road 2 times since I owned it. It is not my tail rig( i have a samurai for that), The places I went were out 2 different pipelines to do some surveying for work, and to pull my friends sidekick on another pipeline after he blew a transfer case. Other than that it is a road warrior all the way.
Mods to the jeep
K&N FIPK air intake
Flowmaster cat back
New down tude(slightly larger without the factory kinks)
Rough country 3" (not spacers actual springs) with rough country shocks and steering stabilizer
Sway bar quick disconnects
32 11.50 Goodyear wranglers mounted on ACM 15in aluminum wheels
Relocated vent tubes to a higher point
Front skidplate
Rubberized floors
Reese class 3/4 receiver
Larger diameter front arms
RXC rock sliders
herculined wheelwheels
Bushwhacker pocket fender flares
Cut fenders
2 Hella 500 fog lights mounted on a XC adapta-lite bumper bar
H4 head light conversion(pretty sure thats what it is called, went from sealed beam to a h sersies type of bulb)
Diamnd cut headlight buckets
Clear signals
Clear markers
Tinted windows
Xplod head unit with remote with Alpine 10in sub and 400watt amp
And I am pretty sure I am missing some stuff
The bad
Reverse Lights do not work, I am almost 100% that it is a bad neutral safty switch they cost about $10 to rebuild/ rewire
Has the same problem that ever lifted XJ has, a 60mph vibration caused by the driveshaft angle being slightly to steep. You can fix this by either lowering the jeep to stock height or buying a longer driveshaft and a shorter output for the transfer case. I am pretty sure there are a few companies that make kits to eliminate this problem.
2 of the fender flares are cracked. One on the passenger rear is cracked due to a friend backing his door into the flare, the other is mainly just a pull away from the drivers front fender due to an RTI test ramp run and uncut flares.
Has a small rear end fluid leak after being rebuilt. I bought a new gasket to hopefully remedy the problem.
AS far as pics go, I was going to have some tonight but it decided to rain so it got dirty again. If the rain holds off tomorrow I will have pics up.

wotnartd 06-29-2008, 09:27 PM That's a very clean jeep.
fcdrifter13 06-29-2008, 09:51 PM I outta be $50 a week to keep it detailed so it always looks pretty. If someone really absolutely needed pics of this Jeep flexing I can get some at request. It was built to go wheeling but I have 3 cars, 2 are not running and the jeep is my daily til either it is sold or I fix one of the 7s, so I never take it wheeling because I dont want to break something.
Alex-7 06-30-2008, 01:01 AM take those vent shades off.
fcdrifter13 06-30-2008, 09:29 PM If you buy it, ill take them off.
Alex-7 07-01-2008, 05:31 PM I've had a couple XJ's.
Yours is spendy.
fcdrifter13 07-01-2008, 09:19 PM Jeeps around here are the gray area, hell anything that isn't a chevy or a ford is considered the gray area, it is very hard to judge a cars value and I try to price my cars by what I see on the internet to give a fair price. Ive seen better go for cheaper and worse go for more, so I thought I would go the middle ground. the price is negotiable by alot though.
Alex-7 07-02-2008, 06:33 PM I'm moving to west Va next year.
Hold it for me.
fcdrifter13 07-02-2008, 08:41 PM lol what part, and I am sorry.
Alex-7 07-02-2008, 10:36 PM Huntington. You around there?
fcdrifter13 07-02-2008, 11:28 PM ya its a 20min drive my g/fs dad lives there. Its an alright place as long as you are around the campus then it turns into a good huntington and a bad huntington pretty quickly.
Alex-7 07-03-2008, 01:46 PM Interesting.
Yeah, I have no idea what to expect.
We'll have to kick it.
fcdrifter13 07-03-2008, 01:50 PM expect normal, no horror stories from where you are moving to, other than the usual slightly larger city problems(mild crime and violence inside city limits)
Alex-7 07-03-2008, 02:06 PM Funny how that's a big town out your way.
From what I can tell it's a bit smaller than where I'm coming from in kansas.
West Va... Any hot bitches with trashy accents?
fcdrifter13 07-03-2008, 02:21 PM I think the entire state has a population of 1.8million people.
If you are right in town there will be some decently good looking girls mainly because you are right next to marshalls campus, most are from out of state so the accents will vary.
Your main points of fun are as follows.
Quaker Steak and Lube in South Charleston its a 20 min drive and they have a bike night every thrusday, and cruise in all week. Usually about 2-300 people for either event.
Tristate race track and gaming center is 15mins from huntington. All it is is a dog track that is now allowed to have table games and some other things.
If you have a ATV or truck/whatever there are tons of free wheeling locations within an hours drive.
Bars lots and lots of bars.
Oh i forgot the best thing about the whole place. Between the hours of 11pm and 2am there are no cops around, we are so short handed that they only come around at last call. This means that this is open for fun.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=west%20virginia%20interstate&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl
The interstate between huntington and st Albans is dead at the same hours as the cops are not about. Because of new trucking laws trucks have to park and rest after I think 11 hours of driving. this means most are at rest areas at 11pm. So the interstate is empty and has 0 cops. there are 6 strait stretches anywhere from 2 miles long to 6 miles long, so if you have a fast car its pretty fun.
fcdrifter13 07-08-2008, 06:01 PM $4000obo
$100T2 07-08-2008, 11:08 PM What kind of gas mileage does it get?
Alex-7 07-09-2008, 03:27 AM 16 city 21 highway all stock.
I bet a light foot would average 17ish in that bitch.
Oy, west va.... Thanks for the input amigo. I'll be close to the campus I'm sure as I'm going there to Finnish a degree. But its still a place I'd never thought I'd find myself..

fcdrifter13 07-09-2008, 03:53 PM with stock gearing im getting 18 and i live in a mountainous area as long as im not the one driving i have a real heavy foot
fcdrifter13 07-13-2008, 03:20 PM bump
$100T2 07-14-2008, 12:31 PM I'd love to buy it, but I can't realistically use it. It's so perfectly done.
fcdrifter13 07-14-2008, 06:44 PM see thats what i said when i bought it, and i bought it for the sole reason of towing the samurai to and from the trails. So far ive used it for removing vehicles from ditches, helping broken down friends, hauling a honda d16z6 with trans in the back, towing campers for my cousins RV dealership, pulling away the fender from the wrecked FC front end to get to the harness, and teaching my g/f how to parallel park.
There are a million uses for this jeep for you kevin you just don't know about them yet.

Yeah, except I would need to drive it 70 miles a day, and that's what I can't justify.
fcdrifter13 07-14-2008, 08:07 PM ohh damn thats some commute.
$100T2 07-14-2008, 08:24 PM Trust me, I'd love to have it, looks like it kicks total ass.
But, there's a Grand Cherokee for sale down the road that might be better for me.
fcdrifter13 07-14-2008, 08:35 PM My moms grand Cherokee is BA i like it. Power everything and it gets around 25mpg.
fcdrifter13 07-16-2008, 04:57 PM $3500 is as low as i can go
$100T2 07-16-2008, 08:19 PM I'll give you $10 a week for it for 10 years.
Supper 07-16-2008, 08:52 PM I'll buy it if you drive it out here.
fcdrifter13 07-16-2008, 09:16 PM Middle of nowhere is pretty far lol.
Supper 07-16-2008, 09:18 PM exactly :)
Nice jeep, but I've already got a few jeeps too many.
fcdrifter13 07-16-2008, 09:21 PM I would keep it but where I am moving to is like on of those "we want to save the earth" towns, that and i have 2 rx7s that combined get 25MPG maybe...if i drive real slow.
fcdrifter13 07-29-2008, 02:20 PM bump this shit YO my nigga moon.
fcdrifter13 07-31-2008, 09:41 PM For the right car i will throw in the fb and vert with the jeep.

Tofuball 01-06-2009, 08:56 PM Awesome. Lets swap in a manual.
fcdrifter13 01-06-2009, 10:54 PM Did you ever figure out your local laws on lifts and such?

fcdrifter13 01-07-2009, 09:35 PM The Volvo cant die its a tank.
Tofuball 01-08-2009, 07:22 AM Well, it's not dying . . . it's just not functioning at a level I find acceptable for a vehicle to function at :P It still makes it from point A to point B, albeit while causing lymphoma to everyone in and around it.
Tofuball 01-08-2009, 06:56 PM Found the leak - rear fuel hose exploded.
fcdrifter13 01-08-2009, 09:41 PM Well thats good, ill have to call you tomorrow on my lunch I was out running around all day today.
