I think R12 cools faster, because my car starts getting cold immediately after I turn the A/C on. It's so nice. Even with both windows down and sunroof open in the 7s, it doesn't save you from the God forsaken humidity. Tofuball 06-07-2008, 08:43 PM They make stuff called Freeze-12 that is supposed to mimic that effect. You can also buy special 134a that costs a bit more and gets colder a whole lot faster.
