Looks like a Miata/FD front end.

I don't find the Z to be a particularly attractive car, but I drove a 2007 for a little while and I liked it. I took my friends 350 from NC to Atlanta and it is a pretty solid car. I didn't think it was lacking in power, pretty heavy though and also a pretty heavy feel to the steering. It's also tiny and not very comfortable for someone that is 6'2". Overall though, not a bad car.

the new one looks like they created a place to put rest your left arm while driving...it might sound wierd but that pissed me off when i drove a 350 i was so uncomfortable

Thats a good point, there was no place to put your left arm in that car.

They should have put the GT-R style handles on it, where you push to flip out and then pull. They feel a little chintzy, though. The encompassing feel of the cabin is nice on the GT-R, but I'm still a fan of an arm on the window sill.

I don't know man, still looks a lot like the 350 to me. I think they need to change the headlights and taillights, I was never a huge fan of them. It may also be because I see about 10 a day around here as well, and that's not including G35's. I used to think they were pretty cool until I saw them constantly.

That said, the Burnt Orange is still my favorite color on that car, with silver right behind it.

Seriously though, 30 years later the 240z is still a better looking car. That shouldn't be the case. Even Dodge managed to make the Challenger a better looking car, Nissan needs to step it up.

no doubt it still looks like a 350z

i actually think they took a step backwards from the 350z with the lights. they 370 lights have these 'hooks' in them now and look rather atrocious

but recall the shape of the 350z side glass and roofline and the differences become apparent

added on the 240z angles into the glass and gave it the old school bubble back shape to the roof instead of the 350z's down-syndromy profile
its not 240z status of course, but overall its much better, imo! i can actually look at one without puking!

the 240z was a great body style, they steered to far from the classic lines.dealers need to bring back old schol style cars with modern tech.like the 55-56 chevy or the 40 ford or chevy.or the datsun 510,

Retro cars never work out right because the cars they are modeled after always look better.
