that plus add in a concrete divider median, and a brick wall.

will u be replacing it with the same or something else? i also take it u'll be salvaging everything that is salvageable.

I know where a nice all stock 300zx tt is. black/black manual and its super clean. Guy lives a little way away but I have video of it on the dyno when I went to Charlotte. I think 276rwhp stock.

that sucks..but if you can get enough from insur., maybe you can finally get a stang or a GTI or whatever it is you want...i totaled mine and i couldnt be happier...no car payment...insurance dropped in half..and car got aftermarket shit to fix stock stuff..

i feel theres quite a bit more damage to my car then there was to yours.

aight heres the details :


on the way to school this morning heading down 291...... its raining pretty hard.

Im over in the far left lane, behind a brand new ford super duty... 8 foot bed, 4 door, dulies. huge protable concrete mixer in the bed of it... every bit of 8000 pounds worth of truck im sure. it was huge.
behind me is some trash jeep cherokee. He keeps riding my bumper too. I can see the driver... some scroungy ass looking redneck. Im about a mile fron the school, and i see up ahead the truck slamms on brakes. so I do the same.... we get down to about 35 mph or so and he gets on the brakes REAL hard then. Well i BARELY had room to stop but I got it just about stoped, and then i look in my rear view mirror, and this ass hole in the jeep is BARELING down on me.....I see the front of his jeep drop as he hits the brakes but its to late. He slammed the back of my car on the right side. When he did my car shot side ways to the left, slammed the truck hard enough to move the cement mixer enough to break the back window. My car went under the truck enough for me to clearly see the axle pretty much even with my head. Just so you realize how hard the jeep hit me, after I hit the ford truck my car went CLEAR over a 6 inch high NON smooth edged concrete divider, acorss 3 lanes of traffic and into a brick wall on the other side of the road ( it was under an underpass ). after all this, a ford expedition NARROWLY missed my car head on ( were talking inches ) then another car managed to come to a screeching halt and barely tap the front of my car. After every thing came to a stop, i look down and my tachometer is bouncing off the rev limiter, and i can hear the engine knocking. i shut the car off, and the knocking gets progressivly louder as the RPMs fall.

Total accessed damage to the 240 :

Hood, both front fenders, ( passanger side fender hanging off) windshield is smashed, front bumper, all lights and assemblys, front passanger wheel as about a 45 degree angle, broken suspension, passanger door bent down a few inches wont close now, driver side door wedged shut, passanger 1/4 pannel wrincled and pushed up at least a foot, rear of the car demolished, all rear lights, trunk deck smashed beyond recongision. I was unable to get the hood up, but fuse box smashed/exposiing wires and sparking, coolant leaking, oil leaking, rad supprt pushed into the engine, intake smashed.... needless to say its totaled.

After all this i come to fin out that ass hole in the jeep is driving with a suspended lisence, and is blaming the accident on me, saying some one else was behind me, and he was infront of me, and the person who caused it drove off. Of course the cops know it was all bullshit, and finaly he started cussing me out and sayign it was my faulght... cops took him to jail, and impounded his car.

Now... to find a new car.

dude..i'm so sorry to hear that. when i was rearended...the sorta same thing happened to me, except he was drunk...not a suspended liscense.
