Getting another title is fairly easy. Many years back I bought a car from a junk yard and the title had been lost in a building fire. I called the DMV to find out what to do and a lady there told me what I needed to do. If ur title has gotten lost, all u have to do is file for lost title by filling out a form at the highway department.

well, the problem with that is that u have to be the current title holder (which i assume he is not b/c he never got one). so, you;d have to go back, have them get a title, then transfer it to you. i had this saaame problem w/ my Rx7...

what do you not like about your 240? i love mine, it has great handling, looks great, just needs some power!

I let Matt Truner take it to the prom, and he apperantly let Clay and Brandon Bell drive it some time, and Bell apperantly missed a 3rd gear power shift... according to Clay at least. I dont know what the **** happened, but its screwed.

Hope ya'll dont rage me to much, but im leaning towards a 4.6 4v cobra........

If he bought the car without a title, then it was that person's job to get one. And I'm assuming with no title, u drive it with no tag also since u can't register it without the title. In my situation, i had to sent a letter to the last registered owner and since he no longer lived at the address the DMV gave me, the letter came back, so I just had to file for lost title, really was no big deal.

that sounds like it worked out pretty well micheal, the Rx7 was similar to that, it worked out fine, it was just a pain in the ass...
