Ok......now that apparently the board has been fixed let me try this again! I drive back and forth from NC to SC a lot but I usually take a shortcut instead of going through downtown Chesnee, well the last couple of Sunday nights that I have been coming back I've decided to go through Chesnee instead.......and man, what a sight, why does it always look like the fast and the furious has come to life on main street? I mean I had to wait freakin 5 minutes at the stop sign by the hot spot to turn onto main street because of the constant flow of dropped civics with terminator II wings and neon washer nozzles, and then I get down to the parking lots around the bantem chef and there must have been 50 cars! Is this an every weekend thing or something??

Chesnee is infamous for "cruisers". People come far and wide just to show off their rice. Its like the strip at the beach just toned down a bit.
One time from Cash and Henderson to Bi-Lo i counted 19 Ford Mustangs and i couldnt even keep count of the civics....
yes i live in chesnee and by gosh, i like it. just not on sunday nights....

heh, for those of you that don't know i went to chesnee high school and live 5miles away from the city so this definatly isn't news to me.
"Cruising" on sunday has long been a tradition in Chesnee, hell probably since the 50s or 60s. Of course you have your rice and wanna-bes out there, but there are a few nice cars that drive the strip.... but you're still more likely to find nicer cars out at westgate.

there are people from gastonia that come up and cruise chesnee EVERY sunday!!!! the only chesnee people r the ones that sit at turner's. the rest r from nc and other parts of sc. it's packed every sunday!
that's a good idea! come down and cruise this sunday!
