anyone seen it? I noticed the change in the sound of it at the end and that "belt squeel" sound, could it have been an apex seal?

the only thing i dislike aobut that car.. 28inch chrome dub drag wheels in the back... :nono:

Mazda had 3 or 4 four-rotor engines, most were experiments in the 60s and 70s.Then there was the famous R26b and that was for le mans

Other than mazda there have been several companies who have made use of a 4 rotor engine...including chevrolet in the 70's with some of their race vettes.

on a side note...there once was a 1 rotor that made 750ish hp at 1525 rpms. it had a displacement of around 31 L.

Yeah, I remember seeing that awhile back when I did a search on rotary engines.
