How long have you had the SC? Did you do anything to it as far as maintenance or mods? I collect those....kinda surprising to see someone around here with one as they are not very common. My first was an 89 5 speed, and I now also have a 1995 5 speed too...

Sale pending on the '93 GT.

We changed the plugs and wires in the SC, installed a k&n cone filter I had laying around. Also comes with 2 new belts. My friend bought it Wednesday. It has some rust from Ohio hasnt even been titled yet for SC. Previous owner said the headgaskets were changed 30k miles ago, looks more like they just swapped in a different engine. Its not in great condition but it is a fun car to drive, especially in the rain.

Sorry--I already have two of them and I couldnt get away with getting a third lol

But I can help you--I am in a few SC clubs. PM me with as much info about the car as you have and I will pass it on and see who bites on it. Let me know if youre interested.

EDIT--also, can you get pics of the rust? I will need to pass them on. and tell me what color the interior is.

Dude--who are you talking trash to? YOU DRIVE AN ECONOBOX....wake the hell and smell what you just stepped in, champ....what do they call you on the street--G Money, Grocery Getter? And to think, all that cash you spent on the Honduh could have gone towards a REAL car....like mine, for example. I have a black 95 Supercoupe. Lowered 1.5 inches, in 17" chrome Cobra R's. 255/45/ZR17's...and it needs them. It's a stick, and on the dyno it pops down 308 hp at the wheels, and 397 tq. And to top it all off, I am putting the finishing touches on the A/V setup over the next couple weeks. DVD/MP3/CD-RW, with screens in the visors. A pair of 500 watt EACH aluminum cone subs in the trunk--oh, and still have useable space too. In the lot or at the light, junior, you are put to shame. Dont get me wrong, you at least have a clean install, but on an accord?

hell, All that is left to get now is the new Optima battery. It even has a GPS nav system installed. I like my toys, just like you, but unlike you, I like mine to get going without needing a push from a real car....that stang you just tried to rip on would smoke you in half a heartbeat, son.

Juiced up econoboxes like yours are a dime a dozen, and the only reason why is because not everyone can afford a real car to start off with. Let's get real here--if you could have afforded it, you would have started off with a much nicer car. All that power I have and still get 27 mpg on the highway just cruising....with the choices you have today, there is only one real reason to get an accord--because you cannot afford the one you really wanted instead.

Ouch.

yeah, I guess that did come off a little harsh--but seriously, when you own a hopped up grocery getter, you don't have much place to talk about someone else's car. The stang is not my favorite car, but it was pretty good for what it was designed for, which is more than any accord was ever designed for IMO.

better luck next time you go car shopping, JP....

Hopped up grocery getters are awesome. BMW makes a killing selling those.

I have a 1984 VW Vanagon with a Chevy engine in it :)

Thats the whole reason the SC is so cool, it's a grocery gettter, that goes :)

At least the stang convertable has rear seats, unlike my RX-7 'vert. :-p

when I said grocery getter, I was referring to the econobox, not just any car that isnt a pure performance car. and hopped up econoboxes are more common than pimples in high school...What did you put in that vanagon anyways? That's gotta be something else to drive if you have a lot of power in it.

The SC is really something else--you can actually sit an averae size adult in the back fairly well, and the torque off of the sc'ed V6 is unreal. That car, when completely stock, would still take a stock Mustang GT from the same year. Wouldnt blow its doors off but it would win. It is the best combination I have found of performance, handling and family room. the only thing about owning one is that they take a little more time and $$$ to keep on the road, but as much as I drive mine, they both really have been great cars.

Come to think of it, maybe someone needs to put this engine into an FC and see what happens.....just to be different.

Well, the one I want to sell needs a new pully, but otherwise has a brand new and rebiult (never used) snout.

If you know somone who wants it, I'd sell it, they probably have more use for it then me. $200 + S&H sound reasonable enough? :)

I can do some checking with the SC club I belong to. The pulley might not be an issue, since many of us use an overdrive pulley anyways. I have a 10% OD pulley on my 95. Let me see what I can find out. Hey--can ya shoot me a pic or two? Also, do you have any other info, like miles, or the year? There were two different models used on the SC's, one from 89-92 and the other from 93-95. The newer one puts out a little more power.
