Stang_15us 06-06-2005, 04:34 PM how much for the engine...been trying to do a swap but im told the 5.0 swap is better for a v6 stang due to all the changes you have to do for the 4.6
that would be a good swap for your car esp if he still has the k-member. be sure and get the T-45 too.

I will take $4k for the engine and trans. I have everything you would need to do the swap. I have the wiring harness, computer, cold air induction with mass air meter, strut tower brace, a brand new set of BBK headers and a new set of underfrive pullies that are still in the box. I will also give you the tubular k member too. I have over $4500 invested in this. I might take lower if you have cash in hand. I just found out today, that on Sept. 1, 2005 I will be out of a job. Thanks alot WInn Dixie :screwyou:

The bankrupt supermarket chain Winn-Dixie will cut approximately 22,000 (28 percent) of its 78,000 jobs and close all stores in South Carolina, including a Greenville distribution center.
Under the proposed reorganization plan, the Jacksonville, Fla.- based chain will close more than 300 stores (35 percent).
Store managers at every area Winn-Dixie store were told not to comment. As of late Tuesday evening, not all employees at some stores were told of the closings.
One local Winn-Dixie employee would only say, "It's a sad day."
The savings for the company are expected to be about $2.5 billion, with an anticipated $7.5 billion annual revenue after the closures.
An attorney representing Winn-Dixie, Stephen Busey, said at a bankruptcy hearing last week that Winn-Dixie planned to cut 400 jobs from the 1,400 at its corporate headquarters.
Winn-Dixie listed assets of $2.2 bil-
lion and liabilities of $1.9 billion in a Feb. 21 bankruptcy filing.
Winn-Dixie operates 901 stores in nine states and 12 in the Bahamas. Once the reorganization plan is implemented, Winn-Dixie will operate approximately 587 stores in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi, and the Bahamas. All stores in the Carolinas, Tennessee and Virginia will close.
The company said it will try to find buyers for the closing stores and ask the new owners to retain as many employees as possible.
Peter Lynch, president and CEO of Winn-Dixie, has said for months that the reorganized company must become smaller.
"We regret the impact these tough decisions will have on many of our associates, customers and local communities. We do not take these decisions lightly and would not be proceeding if these steps were not essential to restore Winn-Dixie's financial health," Lynch said in a statement.
In the statement, Winn-Dixie also said it will try to sell six dairy plants, its pizza plant in Montgomery, Ala., and its Chek Beverage/Deep South Products plant in Fitzgerald, Ga., which produces Chek soda, shelf-stable juices and condiments.
If buyers are not found, Winn-Dixie said it would continue to operate the Chek Beverage plant and its Hammond, La., and Plant City, Fla., dairies.
Winn-Dixie is No. 182 on the 2005 Fortune 500 list of the country's largest corporations. Winn-Dixie was ranked No. 8 among 19 food and drug store companies, while Lakeland-based Publix was ranked No. 6 among supermarkets and No. 117 overall.
