They lowered the hand gun age from 21 to 18 in SC. I own a hand gun and I waited until I was mature enough to own one. I really think a high school senior is NOT mature enough to carry. Any thoughts?

I agree with you 100%. I honestly dont think they should have lowered the age is SC and something else I dont agree with is the fact that an 18 year old can buy an AK-47 but cant own a .22 pistol at 18.

I think they should raise the age on ALL weapons purchases to 21 and should require people of all ages to go through safety training before they buy their 1st weapon. I dont however think that retarded politicians should be allowed to pass legislation on weapons they have no clue at all about. Case and point: Nancy Pelosi. This retard wants to ban all "Automatic" weapons because in her dilluted mind she sees "Auto" and "Assault" in the same category. If she were to get legislation passed it would mean the evil AK47 , the AR-15, the Mini 14, and other variants of auto weapons would be banned. It would also mean that every duck hunter, deer hunter, whatever hunter would own an illegal weapon by possessing a shotgun. I believe in a literal translation of the 2nd amendment, not the diluted interpretation Washington has of it.

They have been trying to lower the hunting age in WI from 13 to 11....but this is with an adult present. An adult needs to be within sight and sound of anyone under 14 as the law reads now.
