turboSE 08-10-2005, 12:50 AM Air liner DORIFTO! JDM pilots? http://www.linhadafrente.net/bin/Pousos.wmv RoadRaceJosh 08-10-2005, 01:26 AM All the planes are in Boeing factory livery so they don't yet belong to an airline. They are probably being flown by Boeing test pilots. The text may even support that, but this is my 1st and only language right here. The 3rd and 4th landings are nuts! Crosswinds are nothing to mess with, but these guys are obviously 1st class pilots. Mad flying skylz yo!!1 Ultralights 08-10-2005, 02:34 AM thats was cool, all the aircraft were test aircraft, (the little drogue chute on the tail is a giveaway) and its the usual test to determine maximum operating crosswind component, the last one looked like to be quite a strong crosswind, i noticed a LOT of rudder work once its on the ground to prevent weathercocking... Geoffrx7 08-10-2005, 03:37 PM they must of overnighted those pilots of japan. GSL-T2 08-10-2005, 04:26 PM anybody else notice the wheels tilted depending on their angle Geoffrx7 08-10-2005, 04:52 PM yeah, i just thought i was seein things... you guys think that song was apporite for the video? i think it suited pretty well my self. one songs that could made it cooler would be welcome to the jungle. Savington 08-10-2005, 08:53 PM Had that happen to me on a flight into Chicago once. I'm looking out the left windows as we're landing, and suddenly the whole horizon swings about 10-15 degrees to the right. Guy in a business suit nearly shit his pants. :D Everyone applauded the pilot afterwards. iamdrunk 08-11-2005, 07:02 AM anybody else notice the wheels tilted depending on their angle I did also. I'm not familiar with engineering stuff for airlines.......could it be some kinda new type of landing gear that adjusts to landings in adverse conditions? Very interesting. I'll email the vid to my dad, as he was an engineer for Boeing until he retired 4 years ago. |
