I have known a couple of D1 and D3 college players in my life. I am about the same size as Ovechkin, and I have lined up with some of these guys to see how I would fare.

I got fucking leveled, and hard. A couple of the D3 guys were Offensive linemen, probably about 6'4" and 265+lbs. Keep in mind, these are Division 3 football players, as in they have pretty much no chance of ever making it to the NFL. The guys in the NFL are light years beyond these dudes, so I have no doubt in my mind that I or anyone else that size would get the complete piss beat out of them.

You may be the same size as Ovechkin, but without even knowing you, I can gaurantee that you are no where near in as good a shape as him. That being said though, I know nothing about football, so maybe he would get fucked up.

I'm not saying that I am, but I am in pretty good shape. I have weight trained for years, can bench over 300lbs, and am quite strong. I'm no NHL player, but I was always an athlete, it's not like I'm a wad of uncoordinated shit like some of the other forum dwellers.
