When I was in the Navy, we used to go and do blood drives. One night, we sat around the barracks to see who could start their own unit with that big needle.

I won.

Yes, I stuck that needle into my own arm. To this day, I start my own IVs and I draw my own blood.

Which is precisely why I do it myself. I've drawn probably 70 thousand people over the last 8 years... I know I can do it. The Blood Center here trains people off the fucking street to do it. Sure, they train them for a couple months, but still...

It usually takes an hour and a half, but I pump that shit out quick.

here in australia, we don't get paid for it we just donate but we do get unlimited cookies and juice afterwards :)

I get all my blood back at the end of it. Cookies are unnecessary.

One time I donated plasma and I was in a hurry. So I thought I was done bleeding picked up my bag the blood shooting out blew off my bandage. I had to walk home(on fremont street in vegas) covered in my own blood for about two miles. Not even the police stopped me.


And when you little bitches start going to the dentist with no novocaine then you can call yourself hardcore. It all started when I had braces and ended up with a cavity on one of my front teeth and the dentist told me he could numb me but by the time I was numb he could be done so I said go for it. Ever since then I never had any, I had three baby teeth pulled a few months and then a few more fillings from the lovely braces.

I think I donate a unit when I work on my cars. Once cars get a taste for human blood....

i throw up everytime i get blood drawn, otherwise id be all over this.
