Apparently a US Air Marshall shot and killed a guy on board a flight from Columbia to Orlando. The plane is at Miami International and reporters are saying it must have happened on the ground or the plane wouldn't have landed there because they wouldn't want to put the ground crew at risk (from a dead guy?)
He supposedly announced he had a bomb and reached into a bag... so they killed him.
I wonder why, if he had a bomb, he didn't detonate it in the air or at least detonate it on the ground without announcing his plan first.
Right now reporters are speculating rather than reporting facts, though (as is the modern trend)

Suicide by cop?
Wanted to die but didn't want to kill himself so he did the one thing he knew would get him shot?

Meh, everyone got that memo though.....
"Any association with terrorists/suspicious packages/verbal threats of a "bomb" will put you in fair game to get killed on sight"
No worries, though... The media will pass it off as another "close call", people will forget about it, and all will be right with the US again....
Nevermind the fact that this story reeks of plotholes and really doesn't fit the MO of current suicide bombers....
