CONCORD, N.H. (Oct. 20) -- Millionaire Sen. Judd Gregg announced Thursday that he won $853,492 in the Powerball lottery.
The 58-year-old Republican was one of 47 Powerball players who correctly picked five of the winning numbers but not the bonus digit that would have qualified them for the $340 million jackpot -- the second-richest prize in U.S. lottery history.
