BATMAN 10-03-2008, 02:42 PM http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r120/namsane/CHPT5SEC2/Picture1-5.png 1revnrex 10-03-2008, 02:43 PM I posted those before, badass boards. Vert8813B 10-03-2008, 03:05 PM Aren't there only like 5 people from *an area where you could snowboard? But yes, I do. And those boards are nice. Zero 10-03-2008, 03:06 PM We have snowboarding places, never done it though. I hate the cold, more of a water person. Gabberguy 10-03-2008, 04:42 PM Yes;) And on the topic of pretty girls and snowboards: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=3074&stc=1&d=1135022869 Btw, one of my boards has a really nice lady on the nose: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=5979&stc=1&d=1165076585 (couldn't find any bigger photos) RyanFlemington 10-03-2008, 04:46 PM omg now I really want to go riding(no inuendo intended). Yeah, those are some bitchin boards:bigthumb: cool_as_crap 10-03-2008, 05:03 PM Yes;) And on the topic of pretty girls and snowboards: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=3074&stc=1&d=1135022869 Btw, one of my boards has a really nice lady on the nose: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=5979&stc=1&d=1165076585 (couldn't find any bigger photos) Snowboard with ski bindings? Gabberguy 10-03-2008, 05:16 PM Snowboard with ski bindings? No, snowboard with hardboots and step-in bindings http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Y0G7EXGBL._SL500_AA280_.jpg http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51339tMWrQL._SL160_AA160_.jpg It allows you to carve a lot harder and with much more control. Unlike ski-equipment the setup flexes forward/backward(often adjustable) but are really stiff at the sides. RyanFlemington 10-03-2008, 05:35 PM it's a racing board, for packed conditions. Gives you less resistance, and an agressive, forward-leaning stance cool_as_crap 10-03-2008, 05:43 PM Weird. Those step in bindings are crap. RyanFlemington 10-03-2008, 06:14 PM they've gotten better, but ya, they're still not great. I'm still rockin a pair of Sim Lynx I bought 6 years ago. Last of the great aluminum bindings. I hate all this new, plastic crap, it breaks down in 2 or 3 seasons. Gabberguy 10-04-2008, 03:13 AM The F2 board is more along the lines of a racing board, the one under is not, its a "freecarveboard" and it works in just about any condition. The nose is wide and the board very long so it even floats great on powder:) (not my first choice on a powderday though). And the intec stepin system is great for carving.. (stiff) When it comes to regular snowboarding I agree with you, step-in sucks.. cool_as_crap 10-04-2008, 05:17 PM they've gotten better, but ya, they're still not great. I'm still rockin a pair of Sim Lynx I bought 6 years ago. Last of the great aluminum bindings. I hate all this new, plastic crap, it breaks down in 2 or 3 seasons. I've had my plastic/metal bindings for about 6 years now, I've had to replace the straps a couple time but other than that they've worked well. Just bought a new board though and they look absolutely terrible on it, but oh well. Squirrel 10-05-2008, 03:08 PM man... i shouldve never sold my board... Animal 10-05-2008, 03:56 PM blah, snow's much more fun with a throttle http://wildcat.homeunix.net/sw/attachment-16.jpeg Steel 10-05-2008, 05:12 PM Everythings more fun with a throttle. Motorcycle> biking Cars> horse and carriage snowmobile> dogsled jetski > rowboat etc. dg123 10-06-2008, 12:37 PM Never gone snowboarding, but have always wanted to. |
