rtryb2200 10-11-2007, 01:16 AM I'm awake at work....for the first time in 14 days I have to work at my fulltime job. Although I only worked one day at my part time job in those days off. It is boring..Almost finished with my bathroom, just need to grout the tile and set the toilet, but I work the next 7 days so it will have to wait.

My full time job, is work 5 have off 4 work 4 have off 5...so when I take off 4 days I get 14, not too bad. I enjoy it but working nights is getting old.

That's a pretty nice schedule. Mine is 2 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off (FRI-SUN), 2 on, 2 off, 3 on (FRI-SUN). Although, I don't have any part time job. I hate my one enough. :)
The nice part about my job is that I'm doing actual labor, so it keeps me thinking (sort of). I'll stay here if they pay for my schooling this winter.

I only worked there during the summer and weekends when I was going to school. Then I worked for almost a year waiting to find a job. Pay is good and I am vested in the pension, which is the main reason I stay

That's a pretty good deal. Paid CDL always has lots of win and the fact that it's so usable is great, too.
The company I work for has capacity trucks, yard dogs, if you will, that drive cross town from the manufacturing plants to our warehouse, all day, driving back and forth on a 2 mile stretch of road. How do you not go completely mental?
rtryb2200 10-11-2007, 01:38 AM We have a Menards Distribution center here in town. They actually have a few of their own roads within the complex where the same thing goes on all day long, so I know what you are talking about.
I enjoy driving but I really don't think I would want to do it in a large city like New York.
