Anyone headed up to Clemson or down to Atlanta or Summerville this weekend? I'll be helping run the Clemson autocross, but Atlanta region is having a Novice school Saturday so that would also be a good start if you have not autocrossed much. The ATL points event is actually on Sunday, so you could concievably run Clemson or SCR's Summerville event and then ATL on Sunday. Clemson and SCR are probably this weekend's more laid-back events, while the ATL region is larger and the competition is a little more fierce.
If you want to run ATL, you HAVE TO register online now if I understand correctly. See their page for details...and this applies to the Novice Day as well.

Normally I'd say "That's what club cars are for" :D
Though, I don't know if the RX7's tires will last through this race, and we're not sure if the CRX will be put back together, either. (We have a 1983 RX7 and a 1991ish CRX that are available for any paid member to drive at our events)
So this week, it's time to figure out which of your friends owe you something, and make them let you drive their car instead.

I had planned on coming but it seems that some bad ignitors may have ruined my ecu... I'm going to remove all of the aftermarket ignition crap and see if I can get the stock setup to work... LOTS OF SOLDERING ugh

Yea, sorry I couldn't talk more with you about your ign. probs earlier Chris. Troubleshooting an assembled board is something I haven't much experience with, Mike may have slightly more. You might have some luck if you could find either some Haltech-specific board, or maybe a generic standalone board, to ask if others have been able to figure out where bad components are. Another problem with looking at the board is that the big transistors might not be what's broken, it may be something upstream as well...
Anyway...come drive CSCC's RX7 instead  it's not quite like yours, but you can still have fun!

No problem. I'm going to hook up my scope and make sure the board is bad before I go and send it off. How did your interview go?

You have an oscilloscope? Sweet!
Things went well, we'll see how well in a week or two.
