Herschel 10-15-2008, 06:17 PM More importantly, does anyone know where I can get video of this past season? Like not just the little highlight clips, but the actual races in whole? I missed several this year and would very much like to catch up on what I missed. Herschel 10-15-2008, 06:43 PM As a side note......Anyone else think that Noriyuki Haga and Jet Li are the same person? http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/6641/norihagard3.jpg http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/5458/jetlimn8.jpg Herschel 10-17-2008, 11:28 AM I'm on the Moto GP site, but I haven't bought any of the subscriptions. Do they actually have the full races? Not just the highlights and stuff but the races as a whole? And I would really like to get them on DVD. I know the season isn't over just yet, but if there's a place to buy previous seasons I would like to find it. I googled it a little but didn't find anything. I saw the Donington race this summer, but I missed the other ones. I did see the highlight of Rossi passing Stoner at Laguna Seca in the corkscrew. That was pure balls and Stoner was soooo butthurt about it after the race. That was poor sportsmanship on Stoners part IMO. Do you think he started to choke because Rossi got into his head a little bit? LOL, I do. xonglennao 06-12-2010, 09:59 PM The Moto GP are one off Prototype machines purpose built to race. The AMA Superbikes are derived from production machines sold to the public. (similar to World superbikes and British superbikes) to compare - your standard 1000cc bike from the shop to either of these machines is irrelevant. your superbike has modified parts and slick tyres, but the profile is the same. this is where we get the RR (race Replica). The Moto GP bike is unavailable to the public. is not even made as a road going vehicle. Just designed to race around a track with the cutting edge of technology. this transfers down to superbikes, then super sport bikes then to your road bike. . I doubt either you or I could make one go faster than the other. but that's because we cant ride either. |
