Does anyone own an ATV and what model(s) ?

I don't know if you can consider this an ATV, but I have a Yamaha PW-80. Its fun for riding in the city.:D

even though they are all all terrain vehicles, only one of those is what you could call an "ATV" I guess.

Drove a Suzuki 500cc around the mountains this week. Never needed 4WD and I went up some pretty wet, muddy, rocky shit.

Matter of fact- 3 other guys in our hunting camp had Suzuki's...

Me? My personal preference is my 1990 Chevy 2500 military truck. Tuesday it was sleeting, winds were 50mph and I decided to put it in 'trolling' gear along the old fireroads. 6.2L diesel, 3spd 400 auto trans and 4.56 axles. Low 4 wheel and 1st gear you just 'creep' along at 3-4mph (no need to touch the gas pedal) It would climb and descend anything.

Perfect for shooting from the window :)

and when I was getting into dirt bikes, $800 bikes was all I could afford. Just keep them around now because its cheaper to fix the old ones.

My information is dated, so take it for pre-2000 atv's. I liked the blasters, only downside after a few months of riding that get really slow. I rode one of the honda sport ones, it was the most god awful thing i've ever ridden, worse than my ex-wife. Cant go wrong with yamaha. Again this is pre-2000.

Seriously, the shit talking and acting like fuckheads just for the sake of it is getting very, very played out. Like someone else said, let's just get back to bullshitting and having fun. We've got some new members, so now is the chance for some mature discussion, getting those new people to recruit more of their friends, and have this site take off.

Can we all agree that the goal here is to have a pretty high traffic, well populated board? I really don't mind the shit talking and flaming, as long as A) there's a good reason for it (for example, BabyUsher brought that shit on himself), B) you keep it in the right location, and C) it's done in moderation.

I keep seeing threads getting turned into shit fests, then we're going to see an increase in moderating users. I figure that's better than banning people anyway... Log in, post, but then it has to be approved... What fun is that?
