Personally, I don't think it was a good idea to take a bunch of teenagers to Aruba with raging hormones and the ability to consume all the alcohol they want, no matter how many chaperones they have. I would rant more, but I'll stop here for now.

i haven't really kept up with it, but i agree that no matter how many chaperones there are, the kids will find a way around them to do anything their little hearts want

Aruba fawked up when they let them go the first time, and then took them back into custody. They got all the advice they needed when they were let go for that short period of time.

What really happened was she was chilling in the club when the three guys came up to her. They said "hey, we want buttsecks how about we go to the beach and do it?" She promptly said "NO OMG WTF!" so they cracked her in the head with a stick they found on the ground that someone found in the arubian forest but left in the club and they dragged her out the door. When she woke up she was like "OMG I NEED LIQUOR!" so they gave her some e and she washed it down with a bottle of robitussin. She was pretty messed up so they had the butt sex but on the last guy she crapped herself and he was like "OMG YOU CRAPPED ON MY BALLS!" and he slapped her with a fish that was on the beach. Then this hobo saw it and he was like "KEEP YO PIMP HAND STRONG NIGGA!" and so the arubian fellows cut her up and threw her into the shark infested waters on a beach with a strong rip tide. Her remains were digested and then the shark crap was eaten by many small ocean-dwelling creatures and she was poop.

I don't disagree with the idea that this shit is obviously on the news cause this girl was supposedly pretty or whatever, and I am quite sick of hearing it. But are you really going to claim her to be a dumb slut because she went out and got drunk?

Aruba being one of the newer trendy resort destinations and locals are freaked out about the whole thing as it may affect its revenue from tourism. The body has probably been found and dumped/buried already...

No offense but your post shows your naivete. The girl was only a devout Christian in front of her parents just like most teens. I doubt this was her first time getting drunk and running off with a couple strangers. I think the U.S. is making too much of this case. Tourists get murdered or vanish in the U.S. all the time. Many of these cases go unsolved and no one gives a shit. Americans end up dead in the U.S. and our own officers can't solve the case. None of those scenarios hog our newspaper's headlines for months on end.
