I'm looking for recommendations from Audioslave fans, I was watching "Miami Vice" (the movie, which is excellent btw) and liked what I heard

Well, what is it that you like about them? Is it the lead singer, Chris Cornell? If so, I might point you towards his earlier band, Sound Garden. Or, perhaps his solo albums. Both would are better than Audioslave in my opinion.

Is it their lead guitarist, Tom Morello? If so, then I would point you towards his earlier band, Rage Against The Machine (probably a good idea to stay away from his solo album though). If you like the combination of the two, (which, on paper, is intriguing, though in reality never really lived up to their potential) then I could always upload a catalogue if you are interested.

yes, I'm very familiar with Soundgarden, but don't really like most of it

Cornell doesn't do much for me either, but I liked the tracks I heard in the movie

anyway, I just picked up "Revelations" on Amazon, hopefully it's decent

Their first self-titled cd is very nice, but everything after that went down the shitter.
