i bought a passenger side axle off ebay around 2 weeks ago...and at same time, i bought driver side from fellow prelude owner off a lude board...i sent $50 a peice for both of them...they were same price coincidentally...anyways, both coincidentally were to be delivered on same day...Monday....now its Wed, and one axle fell out of box btwn UTAH and here..and now its lost..and im prolly gonna get a refund..if they cant find it...and as for the other, the shipper said that it got lost in the mail and that he is gonna send me a refund...what kind of crap is that? it took forever for me to find both axles..and now im back to nothing..i need them asap, so i can get the 5spd swap done..

At least you arent being jerked around by a bunch of hicks who said your alternator would be here about now, and then when you call itll be 45 more days, and you cant hook the system up until then. My moms calling tommorrow and were going to try and make them pay to get a custom one done in a week.

maybe the alternator isn't gonna put out enough juice for the system..

Mark...man that's some bad luck for ya. I know you can't wait to get that swap completed. I would do it on my car, but i'm not keeping it though the summer.

JP, what all have you done to your power system in order to have the audio as well as all the electronics keep up besides gettin a new alty?

Yeah, I need more juice for the system. Ludepower: I got an Optima Yellow Top, 2 1 Farad Capacitors, and im running 0 guage throughout.

Did you have your main ground reworked? That takes more resistance out of the electrical system.

As for the alternator, i know that amp should be pulling about 100 amps of current, and the other two amps should be pulling around 65 a piece...so you got about 230 amps just for sound. A 160 Amp alternator will suffice you but i'd go with a yellow top in the front as well as in the rear. That'll keep the juice going in the car for sure.

But most def, get the main ground reworked. My main ground now is 0 gauge and it made a noticeable difference.
