Who do you think is MVP to your team and why?

As some may know, I am a Yankee fan and I think it is important for them to get Posada back and Mariano.

Posada is said to want a 4 year deal, but with his age and the short careers of catchers, I am not sure I would want him around when he is 41.

Mariano isn't 100% lights out like he used to be (hell...I think he started dropping off in the 2001 World Series against the Diamondbacks when he blew a save), but I still feel he is able to come in save at least 85% of games still.

I would love to see the Yankees get Francisco Cordero from the Brewers, and if they can trade for Johan Santana, that would be awesome.

Gay-Rod may have opted out, but I have the Yankees answer for 3B...

I think the whole way the A-Rod situation went down was fucking stupid, from start to finish.

And I think Boras is a fuckbag.

Everyone thinks Boras is a fuckbag. I am somewhat up in the air about A-Rod. I'm happy to see him back (will be even happier to see him bat over .100 in the fucking playoffs). I think he went with what Boras saying about the more money, then realized nobody was going to touch what he wanted. He humbled himself back to the Yankees who said they would not negotiate, but they were in a fucked up place too with the Free Agent Market.

I hope the Yankees get Francisco Cordero as a setup man now that Mariano is more than likely coming back. Santana in the Rotation...that would just be awesome! But I don't necessarily want to give up a Cano or a Melky and especially not a pitcher named Hughes , Chamberlin, or Kennedy.

I hope Brian Cashman can work some magic this offseason...

The Yankees and Giants are having ongoing discussion of a trade involving Hideki Matsui and Noah Lowry. I'm hoping that maybe if they throw in a Grade B prospect in the deal they can get Lincecum or Cain though.
