Geoffrx7 08-23-2005, 12:12 PM speaking of batmans wing, a while ago he had said how cool it looked in the rain because of the massive rooster tails he would get. do any of you have a picture of that? stuff like that is just simply amazing. BATMAN 08-23-2005, 12:18 PM i tried, but it's hard doing that safely while driving .............. in the rain. Also the back window is limo tint. If my car gets totaled that may never happen until i get another FD with a wing. Someone should have been there taking a photo of my car in the rain. Sorta like this: http://hpbimg.cool-cat-cars.nl/Rydell/Rain-F1-Salo.jpg Geoffrx7 08-23-2005, 01:44 PM yeah i didnt expect you personally to take it while driving... i was thinking someone would be next to you or something then take it ;) that is an awsome photo non the less. nathantheman 08-23-2005, 06:11 PM wern't those chapparals the first cars to use arodynamics? there were no previous rules, so they could make the wing as big as they wanted. Savington 08-23-2005, 07:00 PM wern't those chapparals the first cars to use arodynamics? there were no previous rules, so they could make the wing as big as they wanted. First car to use ACTIVE aerodynamics was the 2J (I believe), which used two high-volume vacuums beneath the car to suck air out from underneath the car, creating a low-pressure zone which stuck the car to the road. RoadRaceJosh 08-23-2005, 11:22 PM Actually the Chapparal had a pedal on the floor to reduce the angle on the wing for more speed on the straights. You don't consider that active aero? rosey 08-24-2005, 04:00 AM Where can I get one for my CRX!!???
