I bought the car about 7 months ago for VERY little because the guy didnt know what happened to the motor other then it sent 2 rockers through the valve cover(destroyed VC). Got the car home and the motor torn apart to find out that it had a screw laying on top of the piston!!!! So thats where it has been sitting. Me trying to decide what to do and the car laying in pieces in my garage. I will take some more pictures today when i get home and post them. For now i only have a few pictures of the parts i recently bought.

On a side note has anyone tried to order parts from arias directly? Just wondering as i am trying to get some pistons made but i cant get them to answer or call back.

Well arias wouldnt ever call me back so i could order the pistons. So i called up Brian Crower and ordered the BC 280 cams instead. According to the UPS they will be here on monday.

Kind of at a crossroads with the car. Right now i can go ahead and order these pistons that i found for a really good deal and build a decent 400-500 AWHP car to drive around until i can finish ordering all the expensive pieces for the good motor or i can take a recent challenge from a friend that said i couldnt make it into the 11's in the car for under 2k with car purchase.

you won't need drag radials. Ever launched an AWD car before? Even on shitty tires you will be able to pull 1.7 60' times once you have the 2-step setup.

DSM link is awesome, megasquirt is even better. Since you have the DSMlink though, stick with it! it'll do fine.

on a decent turbo you aren't going to need the nitrous... but since you've got it allready you may as well run a 50 shot or whatever, can't hurt :P

Block/Crank i am not worried about. Its the rods that keep scaring me. This motor thats going in the car right now(decided to win the bet first) is a 98% stock motor. As for the nitrous well i have bad news for the motor, the only pills i have for it are going to be 150,175,200, and 250 any bets on which one breaks the motor?

Clutch is on its way and only $146 for a 6 puck.

Timing kit showed up last night, Clutch is supposed to show up tonight, and fuel pump rewire kit showing up hopefully tomorrow. Just need a fuel filter/pump and my lazy ass to put it all together.

I have 2 6 bolts. One is a bone stock NA motor the other is the eagle motor that i am building. The car is going to the track with a stock NA motor, Stock turbo head/cams, Stock Turbo/Intercooler, and a little N2O. By a little i mean a 2 stage 100 shot system(2 stages both are 100 shots so about 330 feet out it will actually be a 200 shot). Should be fun to see it pop.

Here is my math for this. Stock NA(10.5:1) motor + 14 PSI + 200 Shot + C16(i wanna give it a chance) = Good times for me.

Well my plans of 14 PSI on a stock 14b + 200 N2O may be out the window. Going today to look at a Greddy 20G + 50 N2O hopefully. Well that will start things anyway.

I have been working on a friends car alot so my car has just been sitting. But as of last night the motor is in, stock turbo installed(waiting on other one to come back from garrett), radiator and cooling system set up, and half of the wiring. I just have to find the time to install the Tcase/driveshaft, front axles, and finish up the wiring for the car/fuel pump.

Some people have jobs batch. Eh well it can wait longer now. Got a call from a shop owner in texas that is hurting for a few parts i have. Looks like i am shipping him a transmission, transfercase, Intake Manifold, and wheels off my car. Gotta find tires for the back up wheels so i can get it rolling again. The transmission is no big deal as it was 1 of 3 and the transfercase was 1 of 4.

I have a nice AWD Tcase that you could put somewhere on that car. No nitrous and no big turbos though. All though i have 4 more weeks until the 50trim comes back. $500 later it comes back to me a new turbo.

18 more days until i found out if this project is gone. Please god let everything go through.
