Toxico 01-22-2004, 06:55 PM no my friend, that is a 2" hole in the side of a rotor housing. I forget, not everyone is a rotor head like me :) basicly its "mad crazy" high end n/a power, it will be around 250~300hp out of a 12A (1.2L) but it will have to rev up to around 10k to reach that. 91lx 01-22-2004, 07:30 PM yea the guy with the dyno had a 177whp 12a i think. it was on a street legal outlaw car that he said weighed arond 1100lbs. i bet its fun as hell to drive. the only bad part is the shifter it between your legs if your hand slips off you're going to be crying. Stegall 01-22-2004, 09:25 PM I was just kidding bout the tranny comment... lol im not a big fan of rotarys, but i know how they work, and stuff. Osborne rants about ports all the time, so I know most of thos too.. good luck with that one.. outta be pretty wicked when its done Cosby 01-22-2004, 10:11 PM you throw a rod through the housing man? I iknow a boy that welded up his 350 when that happened to him. I can give you his neighbors number.. his phone done got cut off rxtasy 01-22-2004, 11:28 PM pports aren't practical for street use. they're too loud for the hp u get from them and u kill power with mufflers to quiet them enough to keep from getting tickets. shouldn't go more than bp to keep some streetability. i have street port on mine, it might not be the fastest thing but i'm well satisfied with it. very streetable and idles well even in cold weather. Cosby 01-23-2004, 12:46 AM everyone knows how crazy I am and Im not peripheral porting mine although I know some people with pps that run better than a large street port. 91lx 01-23-2004, 08:21 AM your neighbors would love that get it p-ported and run no exhaust just a big T-88 no downpipe. rxtasy 01-23-2004, 12:31 PM everyone knows how crazy I am and Im not peripheral porting mine although I know some people with pps that run better than a large street port. wanting more power than stock and reliability more than power was the main objective when i built mine, street port was the best way to go for me. this thing needed to get at least normal engine life out of it, which i usually get upwards of 200k out of the stockers. N1XRR 01-25-2004, 03:21 PM Your car won't "brap brap brap" below 3000rpms...hehehee That is one NICE thing about the renasis...built for 11k |
