Seems you guys like audio questions. What is the best head unit available for < $250. Im looking to buy one in 1-3 weeks and all I want is for it to play MP3s on a disk (not like reg music CDs). Opinions ???

The online Pioneers worth having are the new Premiers with Burr-Brown 24-bit DAC's, which the P760MP does not have. My choice is the Alpine CDA-9815. This headunit is known for its seek times for MP3's, very very pause between songs. The only way to get any better is to buy an iPod. These go for $230-$250 on ebay. |
