This is the other option, but is thinner at 17 x 8.5"

BATMAN 09-25-2006, 04:02 PM I like to keep my stock wheels for snow-tires and a set of 17x9" rims for the Sonoma. Z06 (lightest 17x9 wheel) http://oewheels.net/oe-vette-zo6-a-r-p-2-x.jpg ZR1 http://oewheels.net/oe-vette-zr1-p-2-x.jpg This is the other option, but is thinner at 17 x 8.5" http://oewheels.net/oe-vette-c5-bm-1-x.jpg clean85owner 09-25-2006, 04:45 PM ZR1s. Thicker spoke wheels look better on trucks, imo. ComradeGiant 09-25-2006, 05:24 PM The Z06 would work pretty well for a Sonoma. BATMAN 09-25-2006, 05:29 PM at $500 shipped for all 4 - good price? ComradeGiant 09-25-2006, 05:34 PM I think so. Factory wheels are usually pretty damn expensive. BATMAN 09-25-2006, 05:40 PM that is new price. Say No To Pistons 09-25-2006, 07:32 PM Obviously the Z06 rims. R281 09-27-2006, 02:52 PM The Z06 wheels look the best IMO. BTW, buy a better truck since you can afford it. BATMAN 09-27-2006, 02:56 PM I like my truck. For what I use it for I can't really justify buying a new truck. It's reliable. Besides, I've installed, active suspension, inertia valve shocks, polyureathane bushings thorughout, fr/rr sway bars, x-drilled/slotted rotors with SS braide lines, etc...... Tony 09-27-2006, 03:17 PM Well the offset on these wheels is very similar to/exact same as the WS6 Trans Am wheels. Those are 17 x 9's and they WILL NOT fit on that body S10/Sonoma. They require about a 1.5 - 2" spacer which will put the wheel looking funny as it hangs out about 1/8". VetteGuy 09-27-2006, 05:38 PM $500 for all 4 is a pretty darn good price, I'd get them if they'd fit on my car. Alex-7 09-28-2006, 04:52 PM at $500 shipped for all 4 - good price? They are knockoffs for that price guaranteed. But there's no reason not to buy fakes for the amount of money you save and for what you're putting them on. I have some real ones with nearly new eagle hp's if you're interested. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a289/Alex-7/CamaroEBAY.jpg Monback 10-13-2006, 03:25 AM z06 rim for sure. BATMAN 10-13-2006, 03:38 PM Alex, how much? TonyTurboII 10-15-2006, 10:43 PM I was going to go with some z06 wheels for my blazer, but at 17" i feel theyre too small to look good. |
