Shawshank's a great movie.. and I didn't think American Beauty was retarded, but it just made me really uncomfortable.. maybe because I was about the age of the chick in the movie when I saw it, and it completely grossed me out to imagine some old pervert fantasizing about someone my age :/

Its about mans struggle with machines/becoming a machine.. etc..

Starts out with a dude popping a zit on his face and a transistor pops out!!!!!! And it just gets worse..

One scene has the chick on the cover trying to shove this giant drill bit lookin strap on through this guy...

Another the dudes sititing in an industrial lookin room and takes a bowie knife and cuts his thigh open and shoves an antuator rod into his leg.. later its infected and covered with maggots..

then there's the stop motion animation chase sequence where the dudes are motionless, with jet engines sticking out of their ankels and all of a sudden they haull ass down the street, while in the same pose...

Its the most fucked up thing i've ever seen.

i think i have to rent it now.

Garden State......i forget that this movie fucking rocks...the ending is great........man i love that movie!!
