You guys know you're not actually required to have insurance in CA? There's no law that says that. You have to demonstrate financial responsibility, which means dropping $30k off with the DMV, or paying for insurance.

By the way - a couple of kids were trying to do burnouts in my school parking lot about a month ago. They fucked up bad, and the driver got his foot stuck between the gas and the brake pedal (i.e. top of gas, then foot, then bottom of brake). They jumped the curb, and before he could get to the brakes, he crashed into one of the science classrooms. All the cabinets on the wall were pushed 6" back, two countertops jumped out of place and chipped, a computer monitor fell off the table and was destroyed, and that's not even counting the damage to the outside siding. The ENTIRE WALL is out of alignment by 2-3". They're going to have to tear the entire wall down, re-frame it, and rebuild it at a cost of EASILY $10-15k. Who do you think is paying for it? Insurance.

I am going to have to go with WOMEN. I mean one way or another you end up paying WAY too much for them.
