I share YZF's viewpoint of most mormon's. I grew up 3 miles away from the Utah border in a > 70% mormon population. Hell, even SLC isn't that high of a mormon majority.

SLC is a funny place, I like how there is Budweiser distribution/brewery less than a mile down the street from the temple. And the 'Mothers for Gun rights' billboard crack me up.

But the majority of mormons I have met are some of the most kind people in the world. They volunteer like no other group to help anyone whi needs it..they do set the standard that way.

People call it that because that is the name of the guy that compiled the book of said named book of Mormon. Oh and yes we use the bible too. I would think you would have better things to do than bash fellow believers in Christ our lord and savior.

Even though I'm not LDS, I do feel the Spirit is alive in that church. I have been to an LDS church several times, and although a few different is some aspects, it is very much the same in a lot of other churches.

i met this guy at a lynchburg rallye he is quite smart and i do agree with him. the military is just a bunch of niggars

His article on why he left Mormonism mirrors a lot of the reasons why I don't practice Catholicism as actively as I did when I was younger. His views on the military are sketchy at best.
