Where are you going for Black Friday?

I went to Harbor Freight last year. :)

We haven't really decided, considering we're done Christmas shopping I suppose it'll probably be the store w/ the largest crowd so that we can watch the crazy people fight w/ one another over electronics!!

Man, I hate crowds :P

i hate them if i need to get something, but knowing that i'm finished shopping I can enjoy them making idiots of themselves :) it's quite comical!! you should try it.

I think there is a pretty nice one for $200 up.

But seriously, I haven't done a single bit of christmas shopping yet and you won't see me with those crowds. My sanity alone is worth more than what I would be saving. I will be avoiding major shopping centers like the plague all weekend.

The trick is to wear a very menacing costume, with spikes and eyeliner.

I never understood the point of standing in lines, fighting with people, and dealing with general chaos to save a few bucks on something. My time is worth more than any amount that I would save on anything, especially considering the bullshit I'd have to deal with to gain those savings. Unless I could somehow get some big ticket item for like 70% off, I wouldn't deal with the madness.

Sorry, but I'll gladly spend an extra $200 on a new LCD instead of standing in line outside of Best Buy in 40 degree weather for 6 hours with a bunch of douchebags.

I agree. Plus if you use slickdeals.net, you can usually get better discounts on the stuff anyway.

Hey, At HF, you dont have to stand in line at all. Not that crowded.

One year I stayed overnight at a Wal-Mart with my GF, (Inside the wal-mart) it was fun!

a friend of mine last year stayed at Kmart over night (from 8pm on) until the store opened Thanksgiving morning to get a wii..needless to say he was guarenteed his wii..the mgr said if he was still sitting there in the morning, he would personally bring it out for him, which he did..BUT SERIOUSLY!! to stay in the cold all friggin night, i do not think so...

I do all my shopping online now. I can't stand the parking, the crowds, the assholes, etc.

The holiday season brings out the worst in everyone.

Makes me thankful I'm Jewish ;)
