you will like blood+, but watch Blood: The Last Vampire first to figure out what is going on in the Blood+ series

i watched blood tlv a long time ago

it has virtually nothing to do with blood+

it has more than you think

virtually nothing

-saya's blood does not kill chiropterans, rather she kills them by causing huge trauma that spills excessive amounts of blood faster than they can heal
-TLV does not involve diva, chevaliers, etc
-the monster chiropterans retain the ability to mimic human form, in blood+ they do not
-saya's blood+ vietnam war story does not mesh with the blood TLV storyline
-saya is a clone of the original saya in TLV, saya is the original saya in blood+

the TLV storyline is continued in a videogame and a few manga into the present day... suffice to say it is completely different from blood+. the TLV saya encounters another saya clone who is the matriarch of a den of chiroptera. one devours the other (we don't know which) and then she enters red shield and kills everyone in revenge for using her as a tool.

the only small similarities:
-there is a saya
-there is a david
-there is a red shield
-she uses a sword
-she fights monsters called chiroptera
-production IG of course
